what is this world coming to? people would rather stare at a TV than beautifully painted naked chicks. (disproportionate though they may be.) it would be interesting to make a video of all the art in a gallery (preferrably a big one) and show it in the gallery and see if people watched it rather than looking directly at the work.
(i really like those paintings and can never remember the artist's name. shame on me...)

I noticed a similar phenomenon at The Walker in Minneapolis this summer.
