I once had a wish. I can't really remember what it was anymore. Actually, I think I used to have a lot of wishes. You know, I probably still wish for things, only now I use more "practical" words like "want,""need," and "desire." Here, I will try and use them in a sentence: (original sentence) It's 4:30 in the morning, I really wish I could get to sleep now!
(modified sentence) It's 4:30 in the morning, I really need to get to sleep now!

I think by the time I went to bed (after singing Daisy Bell at the top of my lungs for a half hour) it was 4:30am.
Whew.
Fortunately by 3 I'd had my final beer.
